Deliverable
Design System, UX Proposal

Our goal is to establish a scalable design system that ensures consistency and efficiency across Samsung's financial services, enhances usability through intuitive interfaces and a clear design language, and fosters collaboration between designers and developers.
Goal
Challenge
The primary challenge was to implement a clear and easily understandable design language while strictly adhering to client requirements. It involved identifying consistent rules across diverse interfaces and resolving complex issues that arose from integrating a new design system while maintaining the identity of the existing platform.
Outcome
The final deliverables were consolidated on the Samsung NDS website, enhancing client satisfaction and trust through a unified visual language and interaction guidelines. The system successfully established consistency and accessibility across the Samsung financial services environment.

Project timeline
Project #1
Harmonize Terminology
We systematically collected and analyzed terms used by designers and developers, established a guide that clearly defines the meaning and usage criteria for each term, and significantly improved collaboration efficiency by ensuring accuracy and consistency in communication throughout the design and development process.
Project #1
Standard Guideline
To enhance UI consistency and user experience in financial services, a Common UI Guide was developed to standardize the styles and usage guidelines for key components. Additionally, storyboards were created to visually document the contextual usage and interactions of various UI components. This approach maximized collaboration accuracy and efficiency between designers and developers, ultimately improving product quality and significantly accelerating the workflow.
Project #2
Draft Suggestion
To minimize confusion and provide a seamless transition experience when navigating between different services within the client's financial ecosystem, UI concepts were designed based on user flow analysis. By incorporating feedback, optimized transition screens and prototypes were proposed, enhancing client satisfaction and strengthening trust in the service.
Project #2
UI Prototyping
To deliver a more intuitive and compelling representation of UI transitions and interactions, prototypes were created to allow the client to experience the actual user journey. These prototypes visualized interactions and screen components for key scenarios, enabling flexible design improvements. This approach enhanced the client's understanding and trust while significantly increasing the acceptability and applicability of the final design proposal.
Project #3
Draft Suggestion
To improve digital accessibility for senior users and design a more inclusive financial service, usability issues and requirements were identified through research. A senior mode UI was then designed and proposed, incorporating enhanced text readability, touch-friendly interfaces, and simplified navigation. This approach significantly increased convenience and satisfaction for older users, establishing a comprehensive and inclusive financial service environment.
Project #3
Storyboard Documentation
To clearly convey the design intent and user experience improvement goals of the senior mode, storyboards were utilized to organize the components and detail the UI composition, focusing on accessibility-enhancing features such as simplified navigation. By continuously refining the design based on practical client requirements and feedback, the feasibility of implementing the senior mode and the completeness of its service application were significantly improved.
Project #4
Wire Flow
Key user flows were visualized using the Wire Flow method to clearly define the placement of bingo event UI components, state changes, and conditional flows. By incorporating client feedback and iteratively refining the design, the understanding of design intent and implementation efficiency were dramatically improved.
Project #4
UI Prototypinng
To deliver UI interactions and Lottie animations in a more intuitive and compelling way, prototypes were developed to allow clients to experience actual user journeys. These prototypes visualized interactions and screen components for key scenarios, enabling flexible design refinements. This approach enhanced client understanding and trust, while significantly increasing the acceptability and applicability of the final design proposal.
